United Transcription has the ability to provide transcription services to a wide range of organizations, from hospital systems to single physician practices. There is no minimum requirement, and services can accommodate any volume. Outsource as much or as little as you need!

Is United Transcription HIPAA compliant?
Yes. United Transcription fully meets the HIPAA privacy and security requirements for preserving patient privacy. We executive a Business Associates Agreement with all clients, which outlines responsibilities under HIPAA and ensures understanding and compliance with those duties.

What is the standard turnaround time?
Based on individual client needs, we offer turnaround time between 2 and 24 hours. Our service guarantees 24 hour turnaround time for standard transcription, with reporting available to clients to monitor and track results.

What are your dictation options?
With the technical expertise to create interfaces with just about any system, we work with each client personally to facilitate the most effective solution. You can dictate records via your method or ours. We offer digital, hand-held and PC dictation options.

What is involved in set up and how long does it take?
Complete set up will take approximately four to eight weeks depending on volume, technical considerations, and client urgency. Often, transcription services can begin within the first two weeks. During set-up, we develop information about your document types and formatting preferences into a style guide for our staff, and work to establish secure and streamlined methods for the receipt of dictation, demographics and return documents.

Do you require a long term contract commitment?
We offer a low risk service agreement to our clients, which clearly define the specifics of how we plan to do business together and protects the client from price increases for a period of time (typically one year). This agreement reduces risk to your facility by defining your ownership and rights to the information being transcribed and ensures sets levels for report quality and tracking. Agreements can be discontinued at any time with notice. It is our aim to meet or exceed all client expectations in order to develop long-term, successful business partnerships.
