Transcription founded the company in 2002 after a decade
of experience managing outsource transcription companies
that serve the healthcare market.
With the advent of the Internet our industry
experienced tremendous innovation that led to shorter turnaround
times and expanded access to a larger pool of skilled transcriptionists.
However, at the same time, what used to be a tight-knit
relationship between vendors and clients began to disappear.
Facilities were frustrated with a lack of customer service
and delays in having their questions and concerns addressed.
Observing this shift, the founders of United realized they
had the ability to create a service that could leverage
technology to produce fast and accurate transcription while
still retaining the customer service that is vital to the
day-to-day delivery of chart-ready records – United Transcription
was born.
